Spots and picks up empty and loaded containers within the Miami and West Palm Beach area and other South Florida areas.

Inspects containers before delivery for damage and condition.

Clears all bonded containers by submitting proper papers to U.S. Customs.

Performs general inspection on truck daily for D.O.T. safety requirements and completes appropriate Vehicle Condition Reports on all equipment.

Performs duties of Jockey Driver as needed.

Fills out EIR (Equipment Interchange Inspection Reports) along with all other required paper work.

Calls in all container and chassis numbers to Dispatch or guard for booking.

Decks and undecks loaded and empty containers from chassis as necessary.

Bands and/or straps loads for secure transport.

Spots and picks up empty and loaded containers within the Miami and West Palm Beach area and other South Florida areas.

Performs all other duties as assigned.




High School Diploma or equivalent


Five years verifiable experience driving over-the-road equipment, and two years verifiable experience working LTL freight.


ICC and DOT certification and DOT physical. Valid Local Driver's License. Class A, CDL with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements.


100% Travel to local Tropical locations.


Ability to climb in and out of truck and drive for extended periods of time. Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of pressure to turn crank lever. Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer or handheld. Ability to frequently twist, bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb on equipment, push/pull 50 pounds, crawl, lift and carry at least 80 pounds on a daily basis, Able to withstand constant exposure to extreme weather conditions,.


English both oral and written.
