Functions as a lead, ensuring the smooth daily import and export operation of the department. Assists with inventory monitoring, distribution and replenishment. Responsible for overall cleanliness, safety and organization of the main warehouse and satellite warehouses within the Port of Palm Beach. Responsible for the care and maintenance of all departmental capital equipment.

Acts as a lead to all Stockroom Coordinators. Coordinates the assignment of daily instructions to the Stockroom Coordinators and reviews the results.
Responsible for replenishment of inventory (i.e., running the auto replenishment reports and procurement of the material/parts from designated vendors).
Responsible for replenishing free issue inventory. Rotate inventory to ensure FIFO.
Responsible for creating the Bookings for all exported material sent to port locations.
Provides counter support and maintains the inventory item database. Processes usages input, puts away inventory items and non-inventory items, receives in PeopleSoft database, cycle counts/physical inventory.
Ensures that repair and return items are handled in the proper manner. Tracks slow moving stock.
Assists and guides Stockroom Coordinators in the import/export operation, loading/unloading of vendor deliveries, and in the local distribution of parts and materials to local users and vessels.
Ensures safe and proper storage of warehouse parts and materials. Ensures correct material storage compatibility and fire code observance. Ensures a safe working environment in all stockrooms/warehouses and that the materials handling equipment is safe and properly maintained/operated.
Assists Buyers and management as requested with product research and development, sub-contractors for service work, cross-referencing OEM suppliers with local vendors, and capital projects.
Responsible for ensuring the return of Cores back to the suppliers and tracking the return of credit memos.
Performs all other related duties as requested.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Three to five years experience in the field of purchasing/materials management (specifically in a warehousing/stockroom environment).
LICENSE: Valid Local Driver's License
TRAVEL: 5% Travel to various Tropical locations.
