TOTE Maritime Alaska

TOTE Maritime Alaska, the leader in safe and reliable service to Alaska, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Account Executive for our Federal Way office to join our team.

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for developing high level contacts and relationships within National and Corporate Accounts specifically within the auto, 3PL and retail market segments. Must be able to meet defined volume and revenue target objectives and build new business within a defined territory. Responsible for meeting specific sales objectives by following company sales policies and strategies as directed by the Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute Account and segment strategies for key target accounts and market segments.
    • Maintain business relationships with key accounts as assigned.
    • Ability to lead internal teams to collaborate and build consensus towards growing and maintaining existing opportunities.
    • Lead contract negotiations with key current and potential accounts.
    • Responsible for the development of long-term relationships with potential accounts.
    • Effective use CRM and BOS.
    • Represent TOTE by attending various industry and community functions.
    • Daily administrative duties, including timely and accurate daily sales call reports, budget forecasts, and expense reports.
    • Ability to provide timely weekly updates of CRM calls and pipeline opportunities
    • Provides accurate monthly and quarterly customer forecasts updates.
    • Must be able to do competitive analysis and report cost and service activities related to the market as well as stay abreast of TOTE service challenges
    • Participate and support ISO 9002 Program as appropriate.
    • Manage discretionary general & administrative spending levels within budget.
    • Represent TOTE in a professional manner consistent with all rules and regulations affecting the company’s service and operations.

Background Required

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum of five to seven years sales experience, with at least three years in the transportation industry.

  • Computer literate, with the ability to utilize standard software applications and be proficient in Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and all E-servicecenter & E-commerce web-based applications.
