Delta Western

Sales and marketing expert needed in Juneau!  Manage Delta Western’s customer accounts in SE Alaska, work in small office where your contributions can make a significant difference.  Sales, marketing and account management on a product that energy product.

Responsibilities:

Develops and identifies SE Alaska business opportunities.

Works closely with marketing team and site managers to develop and implement sales programs.

Makes cold sales calls to customers and potential customers on a regular basis for both fuel and lubricant sales.

Understands fuel sales and pricing including an understanding of how products are procured and how transportation costs are associated.

Understands lubricants and greases and pricing, updates and manages lubricant prices at each southeast site.

Submits a weekly sales report for the previous weeks activities to Marketing Director

Manages heating fuel pricing around southeast Alaska to keep Delta Western competitively priced, will also manage street pricing for company owned stations.

Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by developing sales action plans and implementing and evaluating advertising programs.

Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities.

Provides information and recommendations by collecting, analyzing, reporting and summarizing data and trends.

Determines annual budget and forecasting plans, projecting expected sales volume and profit, monitoring costs and establishing targeted market share.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED plus three to five years sales and marketing experience, preferably in the petroleum industry.
