Supervises operations and accounting staff, assists the facility site manage in operational duties


Summary of Essential Job Functions

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bulk Fuel and Packaged Goods Inventory reconciliation
  • Customer contact review and follow through
  • Issue and managing purchase orders for goods and service
  • Reviews Invoices and works to resolve issues with customers
  • Issue and track delivery of material/goods Parts Requisitions
  • Generates and monitors accounting reports, as directed to support business monitoring and growth
  • Maintains MAS 200 Accounting procedures
  • Compiles control records and inventory values
  • Maintains Inventory Controls to support on time resupply of bulk fuel and packaged products
  • Completes export paperwork for bulk fuel sold into Canada
  • Assist with Barge Operations including quality and quantity control
  • Assist with gas station operations as need
  • Trains staff based upon assigned duties

Customer Service:

  • Greets customers
  • Answers phone
  • Accepts and records payment
  • Orders products as directed
  • Invoices and performs bill collecting


  • Supervise Truck Driving Staff – Tracks All Compliance issues
  • Ensures company Computer Managed Maintenance System information and status is current and correct
  • Act as critical member of the Oil Spill Prevention and Response Team
  • Performs Barge PIC duties as directed including outside of normal business hours and days
  • Comply’ s with all safety policies, procedures and Best Practices
  • Reviews and trains staff on Company Operations policies and procedures
  • Reports all injuries, spills, and property damage to Site Manager in timely manner as required
  • Acts as the Facility Manager in Site Manager’s absence

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job directly manages approximately two accounting/office staff and three fuel delivery drivers. The position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work. Appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
