Company Description: Northern Air Cargo (NAC), headquartered in Anchorage, is Alaska largest all-cargo airline and the longest continuously operating cargo airline in North America. NAC maintains a fleet of Boeing 737 and 767 freighters and operates pilot bases in Anchorage, Honolulu, Miami and Laredo. NAC’s fleet of B737s provide schedule service between Anchorage and 13 Alaska communities and charter service throughout North America (both on-demand and ACMI). While the B767 fleet operates out of Miami in support of sister company StratAir and out of Honolulu in support of sister company Aloha Air Cargo.
Northern Air Cargo
Plan & manifest all mail and freight for every flight out of ANC and Lower 48 on the B737 aircraft.
Completes Weight & Balance for all B737 aircraft out of ANC and all other communities, including the Lower 48.
Completes Pilot Notifications according to CFR49 for all departures out of ANC and all other communities with Hazmat shipments.
Works closely with Flight Operations, Flight Scheduling, Flight Crews, Ramp Leads, Ramp Agents, Customer Service Agents, and Station Agents.
Regular attendance and shift work required.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED
6 months minimum with three years preferred airline operations experience, or an equivalent combination of both education and experience.
Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and general public.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Computer knowledge a must, with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Smart Cargo preferred. 10-key by touch.
Must be able to work in fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, 5 year background check, 10 year criminal history check, and security threat assessment.
