NAC’s fleet of B737s provide schedule service between Anchorage and 13 Alaska communities and charter service throughout North America (both on-demand and ACMI). While the B767 fleet operates out of Miami in support of sister company StratAir and out of Honolulu in support of sister company Aloha Air Cargo.

Support and participate in overall delivery of responsive, quality employee services.
Assist employees with routine questions such as how to find information in HRIS self-service portal.
Administration and maintenance of employee personnel files including: set-up of new employee files, pulling files, ensuring loose documents are scanned or filed and processing/archiving files of terminated employees.
Answer phones and direct inquiries to the appropriate department employee.
Conduct reference checks on finalists for open positions.
Send out PRIAs in timely manner.
Demonstrates a high level of organizational skills and work well under pressure.
Participate in onboarding of new hires by preparing new hire packets, meeting with candidates to complete required paperwork for airport badging, drug screen and company requirements, ensuring online new hire forms are completed in a timely manner and answering questions from candidates or managers.
Participate in new employee orientation by compiling complete lists of attendees, scheduling rooms and speakers, accurately communicating dates/times to managers and employees, ordering food and beverages, setting up room, assisting with smooth flow of presenters and breaks, ensuring all required forms are completed by attendees and collected at end of session. Make changes to PowerPoint Presentations as directed. May present portions of Employee Services material.
Administer Interline Travel Benefit Program.
Administer Employee Recognition Program, including coordination of employee recognition events.
Reconcile wellness program forms.
Correspond with employees with benefit cutoff date.
Assist with special projects requiring at least intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Other duties as assigned.

Must have at least 18-months clerical experience performing duties of similar scope and complexity.
Must have at least intermediate ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Position requires professional written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor.
Must have excellent customer service skills and ability to interact successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
Regular attendance is required.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check and security threat assessment.
Need valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Experience and/or education in human resources is preferred.
Experience with UltiPro helpful, but not required.
Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively and respond verbally and in writing to management, peers, and outside agencies.
The work is classified as “light” with regards to the physical demands.
Talking is required at least 50% of the day; use of talking on the phone at least 25% of the day. Reciprocal communication is required at least 75% of the day. Good vision is required to process reports, data input, read correspondence and proof read documents and letters being sent out. Good hearing is required to communicate on the phone and while attending meetings.
Lifting requirements: Heavy boxes weighing 25 pounds, light office supplies, stacks of paper and computer printouts. Carts may be pushed loaded with office supplies and/or computer printouts that may weigh 10 to 15 pounds. Pulling will be required such as paper trays in copy machines, and file drawers.
Climbing may be required up and down low step ladders, stooping is necessary for low file drawers and/or to retrieve supplies from the floor or under desks, kneeling and crouching may be required for filing.
Reaching to the top of file cabinets or shelves is required; materials handled will consist of general office supplies and copy machine toner and ink. Fingering is required for pages in books, computer print outs, documents to be filed, keyboards on computers, typewriters, calculators, copy machines, fax machines and telephones.
The job is an indoor job with normal room temperature free from excessive noise other than that of a printer and telephone. Fumes and odor are void from the usual.
