Responsible for managing, creating and implementing a variety of marketing communications, public relations programs and functions for the NVOCC brands with support to Tropical LCL Operations initiatives. Provides detailed analysis that supports the on-going research needs of the company, including external market and industry research, competitor positioning market share and customer trends.
Supports the Social Media Strategy, Policy, Guidelines and standard operating procedures for the NVOCC Brands to include Carbitrans Logistics, VI Cargo and Deluxe Freight.
Identify target audience for all marketing communication materials and determine objectives, messaging, communication and channels of delivery.
Coordinate all website development, content modifications and enhancements to the NVOCC brand websites in coordination with authorized vendors/service providers and the Tropical Information Services Department.
Provides volume and commodity market share reports and monitors progress against company goals.
Analyzes key industry changes and forecast island or trades economic and political trends and reports results.
Provides analysis and develops reports to support the strategic growth and development of the Less than Container Load (LCL) business.
Provide required analytical support to assist in the maximum utilization of equipment and vessel capacity.
Coordinates detailed customer analysis by margin, volume and commodity.
Establishes methodology and process to obtain, track, format competitive information and distribute to necessary personnel or departments.
Develop and maintain a system for measuring key service indicators and reporting results.
Provide market analysis for new ports or service offerings.
Maintain customer profile database.
Develop all customer or company surveys and provide analysis of results.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or Marketing.
EXPERIENCE: Five years experience in marketing or financial analysis.
LICENSE: Valid Local Driver's License and Valid Passport
TRAVEL: 5% Travel to various Tropical locations.
PHYSICAL: Office Environment - Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer. Ability to bend or stoop to retrieve lower shelf files. Ability to reach overhead to retrieve upper shelf files. ability to sit 1/3 - 2/3 of day. Ability to travel in various modes of transportation (e.g. automobile, airplane, train etc..) Occasionally exposed to outside elements during the course of traveling.
