TOTE Maritime Alaska

TOTE Maritime Alaska, the leader in safe and reliable service to Alaska, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Inside Sales Representative for our Federal Way office to join our team.

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for growing TOTE business in the assigned sales territory utilizing best sales techniques and professional sales strategies. Maintain contact with prospects while developing lasting partnerships with customers in assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embrace a positive safety culture that enforces a safe work environment.
  • Represent TOTE in a professional manner consistent with all rules and regulations affecting the company’s service and operations.
  • Interface with Customers, Prospects and internal TOTE departments developing logistic and shipping solutions.
  • Grow customer and prospect relationships within assigned Inside Sales Representative account territory.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of TOTE’s quote generation process and follow all departmental approval requirements and documentation.
  • Produce multiple quotes daily via phone or email correspondence.
  • Follow Inside Sales Representative cold-calling and quote follow-up KPI’s.
  • Assist sales department with customer quotes, market research and leads.
  • Follow-up on every quote opportunity, selling TOTE’s service in a professional and strategic manner.
  • Within CRM; capture customer feedback, maintain account profiles and update key market intelligence indicators.
  • Promote and support TOTE’s e-commerce offerings (E-Portal / Cargowise)
  • Successfully onboard new clients and support existing customer projects across various departments positively impacting customer experience.

Background Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • Five years related customer service or sales experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent math skills.

  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Computer literate, ability to utilize standard software applications in Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
