Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing oil and oil related products via truck to customers.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Opens the shop Monday through Friday.

Performs truck deliveries to commercial customers via package truck with bulk delivery system.

Manages the fleet at the Fairbanks site working closely with the rolling stock managers in Anchorage.

Manages product inventory levels for certain customers.

Schedules and organizes deliveries.

Follows DOT Regulations.

Periodically provides customer service including answering phones, writing sales orders, and providing customers with limited technical help.

Performs general warehouse maintenance. (sweeps floors, organizes stock, etc)

Handles bulk products and manages in-house bulk inventory (pumps drums into bulk totes, pumps bulk tanks etc.)

Assists in managing inventory for the Fairbanks site (putting in stock transfers, rotating inventory, merchandising, counting inventory, and working closely with Anchorage warehouse and logistics personnel)

Participates in safety meetings and reports all injuries, spills and property damage. Identifies and communicates job hazards. Informs management of safety, environmental, and mechanical concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; and two years commercial driving experience or a combination of education and experience.

Valid Alaska Class B CDL with X endorsement
