This position is responsible for providing bulk and package lubricant deliveries via truck to customers.

Operates delivery truck. Delivers full drums and totes to customer locations. Operates manual pallet jack. Rolls individual drums from truck to customer location.

Pumps bulk fluids from truck to customer tank utilizing hose.

Offloads packaged products from truck into customer stores or warehouse.

Maintains accurate records of all delivery documents.

Cleans as needed to maintain a professional appearance personally and with the trucks and facility. This includes washing the truck regularly using high pressure hoses.

Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections, maintains DOT log book.

Perform warehouse duties including picking orders, driving forklifts, repacking bulk lubes and greases, sweeping, data entry, organizing and pulling delivery runs.

Participates in safety meetings and reports all injuries, spills and property damage. Identifies and communicates job hazards.

Assists in scheduling and organizing deliveries.

Assists in managing inventory for the Fairbanks site (placing stock transfers, rotating inventory, merchandising, counting inventory, and working closely with Anchorage warehouse and logistics personnel).

Assists in managing the fleet at the Fairbanks site.

Follows DOT Regulations.

Participates in safety meetings and reports all injuries, spills and property damage. Identifies and communicates job hazards. Informs management of safety, environmental, and mechanical concerns in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:  High school diploma or GED; and two years commercial driving experience or a combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:

  • Valid Alaska Class B CDL with X endorsement preferred/ or ability to obtain CDL within three months

Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit and talk or hear for 10+ hours a day.  The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands or arms.  The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds without assistance and up to 3000 pounds with mechanical assistance.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instruction, correspondence and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Computer Skills: An individual should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of the Job, the employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions.  The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places; fumes, dirt, dust, or airborne particles and occasionally the risk of electrical shock.  The noise level in the work environmental is generally loud.
