Alaskan artist Byron Birdsall was commissioned in 2005 to produce an art collection of the Saltchuk companies: to visit each operating company and commit to canvas our employees—to illustrate what they accomplish and to depict the various locations, equipment, and conditions under which they work. This collection of paintings recognizes their contribution to the growth of our businesses.
